Our summer programs are open to students who will be in grades 9-12th for the 2025-26 school year
Dates: June 23 - July 11, 2025 (No school on July 4th)
Location: All classes will be held at Bremerton High School with the exception of Construction Trades. Construction Trades will be located at a Habitat for Humanity worksite (location TBD)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Available Courses:
3D Animation and Game Design: Learn the principles, tools, and concepts of 2D and 3D animation, video game programming, and video game production. Practice your skills on industry standard computers and software while creating 3D video games and animations. You will learn to design, develop a 3D model, rig and animate a character for video games.
Construction Trades (located off campus at Habitat for Humanity worksite): Prepare for entry-level positions in the construction industry with this introductory course. This course combines theory and hands-on experience on a live construction site with Habitat for Humanity. Students will learn safety and a variety of skills as they reflect on the many different paths they may take in the construction industry.
Cosmetology: Get an introduction to the art, science , and industry of Cosmetology! Students receive instruction and training on the technical principles of hair design, hair care, styling, skin and nail care.
Esthetics: Explore a career as an Esthetician. This course introduces students to the foundations of skin care, skin analysis, safety & sanitation, all while exploring the fast growing Esthetics industry. Students will get hands-on training using mannequins and live models to practice their newly learned skills.
Financial Literacy: Learn about personal finances with this new WST summer course. Students will gain consumer skills and knowledge about budgeting, types of credit, banking, and behavioral economics. Students will walk away from this course with a broader understanding of their prospective finances and best practices for success.
Professional Medical Careers: Through hands on experience, students learn skills and knowledge needed for a variety of medical occupations. Learn anatomy, physiology, and the signs, symptoms, and prevention of disease. Explore medical careers in your area of interest, as well as in high demand jobs.
Classes are NO COST and Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for all students
Bussing not provided. Students must have their own transportation to and from Bremerton High School and Construction Students must have transportation to and from the HFH worksite.
